About
Tiny, beautiful things
I grew up on a broadacre farm in the Wheatbelt with my parents, Lyall and Diane, and two sisters. Mum and Dad were a dynamic team — Mum encouraged us to explore the world through travel and reading. Dad had an extraordinary ability to notice the natural world and the beauty of the tiny, beautiful things that come together to form it.
My parents have always been big supporters of my work — Dad often turns up with a jar full of shells. “She’ll like this,” he’ll think. “I’ll give this to her”. This means that most of my artworks have a little bit of Lyall in them, too.
Making beautiful, affordable art for everyone is a huge part of my life. Calm your mind by focusing on the tiny details that make up your unique artwork. Choose a piece that speaks to you or create a commission with me — together, we’ll create something beautiful and give special objects a second life

An artist at work
My studio is just what you’d expect: a treasure trove. Overlooking Lake Seppings (in a house that is slowly slipping down the side of a hill,) hundreds of jars, bowls and platters hold thousands of shells, blooms, seedpods that tell the story of a very special part of the world.
With tweezers, tiny brushes, [type of glue] (and regular neckaches) I curate stunning, stylish artworks that stand the test of time. My work is favoured by travelers looking for a souvenir of Albany, WA, as well art lovers in search of beautiful, unique pieces for their collection.
The work pays homage to the beauty of the world around us. The shapes in my work — perfect circles made of irregular items — have a calming effect on the mind. The results is collection so compelling, you’ll find it hard to choose your favourite.
